Up Next In Commerce: Virtual Reality Experience

When 2020 changed so many things about the world, including the way that we market, my team at Salesforce decided to reimagine how we can create engaging experiences for our customers and prospects.

We decided to create a customized virtual reality experience, in partnership with Groove Jones, that would immerse the user into the world of Salesforce. I took the lead on our package design and created an unboxing experience with holographic laminates, colors, and textures that made this experience feel distinct from any other. Anna Wolak, the lead copywriter for Commerce Cloud, wrote all of the copy included in the direct mail kit. The gifts include a custom VR headset, complete with Astro's face (the Salesforce mascot), a bluetooth speaker water bottle, a scented candle, holographic stickers, and a bundle of printed materials with success stories from our Trailblazers (customers).
