Connections Main Show & Connections with Sarah Franklin

Events are a huge part of the Salesforce brand, the company typically hosts events around the world for our customers and prospects. Connections was a huge Chicago-based event targeted toward marketers. In 2021, the company reimagined Connections in order to reach attendees around the globe and keep everyone safe during the pandemic.

I worked with my cross-functional team to develop and create the Connections 2021 Main Show, the livestream event for attendees to watch in real time, and Connections with Sarah Franklin, an ongoing episodic series where our CMO interviewed successful marketers across different companies.

I worked with a team of writers, art directors, creative directors, motion designers, and product marketers to establish the look and feel for the Connections Main Show. We derived inspiration from late night shows like the Tonight Show and Saturday Night Live to create a unique experience, hosted by our CMO, Sarah Franklin. We compiled customer stories and custom demos to showcase our latest product features and releases and we incorporated music, graphics, and our mascot characters to keep it light and fun.

Connections with Sarah Franklin is a continuation of the event, with multiple episodes highlighting marketing leaders. I collaborated with my team to make sure that this series felt in line with the main show, while still feeling like its own distinguished series.
